in Mayfair and Soho as well as online

Online psychotherapy to suit your schedule

I am an experienced psychotherapist and counsellor with additional training and accreditation to work online.
I tailor the way I work to each individual client's needs.
I can teleport the therapy room into your living room or hotel room at a time which works for you. All you need is a quiet space.
If you don't like seeing yourself on screen and prefer to express yourself in writing, we can use Instant Messaging or exchange emails.

Am I out of tune?

I offer performance therapy in central London. I specialise in working with musicians, actors, writers and performers who are experiencing overwhelming emotions and need support while keeping the channel of self-expression and communication open.
I collaborate with Helen Brice of Stimmung Therapy (Stimmung means attunement) on the Stimmung Therapy Programme which we offer to all performers. This combines one-to-one trauma therapy with skills in Mindfulness and emotional containment, so we help you release your most difficult thoughts and fears in a safe, supportive space.

If you consult me directly or via the BAPAM service you will receive
* the full attention of someone with insider knowledge of the music industry but no agenda other than your wellbeing
* a quiet space in which to explore your feelings
* a listener you can trust to be discreet, protecting your reputation
* a calm, impartial, holding presence
* confidentiality
* the sense you are no longer alone in a harsh environment
* no judgment so no shame

Mayfair or Soho - the choice is yours

You don't have to be a performer. I work with all people experiencing problems in their daily lives.
I see both couples and individuals from the age of 16 upwards.
I have worked with gay and Lesbian couples as well as polyamorous and trans individuals.
Having lived and worked in the huge melting pot which is the great city of London, I have counselled people of many nationalities, backgrounds and beliefs and all genders and sexualities. All are welcome.
I have supported a number of survivors of abuse, both male and female.
I am a bereavement counsellor as well as offering end of life counselling.
With considerable management experience in both the commercial and charity sectors, I have the experience to deal with workplace issues such as redundancy, unfair dismissal, workplace bullying, career development and career change.
I have a lot of experience in helping clients manage pain and long-term illness, especially ME and now Long Covid.
